Job Description
Positioning
As a key driver of Intelligent Sustainable Infrastructure, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will integrate manufacturing, supply chain, and project execution efficiency to ensure the successful mass production and global delivery of next-generation AIoT smart lighting and traffic solutions. This role serves as the bridge between technological innovation and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Establish and optimize operational processes through data-driven and process-oriented management.
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to continuously enhance manufacturing and supply chain efficiency.
Global Coordination
- Coordinate operations across Taiwan and overseas manufacturing sites, suppliers, and project teams to ensure global delivery quality and efficiency.
- Develop global supply chain risk management mechanisms to strengthen resilience and adaptability.
Cost & Performance Management
- Build cost analysis models to optimize BOM structures, manufacturing costs, and operational resource allocation.
- Monitor operational KPIs to ensure performance targets such as revenue, margin, and delivery schedules are achieved.
New Business Integration
- Drive new product industrialization and establish robust NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.
- Support AIoT and Smart Transportation business units in building operational structures and resource planning.
Organizational Leadership
- Build a high-performing operations team and enhance cross-functional collaboration and execution capability.
- Lead organizational agility transformation by introducing digital tools and performance-driven culture.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Hands-on experience with cost analysis, process design, and data management tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, ERP systems).
- Data-driven decision-making mindset with experience in digital transformation and operational automation initiatives.
- Proven experience managing cross-border operations, supply chains, or overseas manufacturing sites; familiarity with smart manufacturing, AIoT, or electronics industry supply chains is a plus.
- Previously served as COO, Business Unit Head, or Operations Leader in a large manufacturing organization.
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English and Mandarin), with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across international teams.
